BIOGRAPHY

Congressman Hoyer was elected Majority Leader in November 2006 by his colleagues in the Democratic Caucus. The Majority Leader is charged with managing the House Floor and scheduling legislation for consideration, as well as unify the Caucus and deliver the Democratic message.
